Inter-Company Marketing Partnerships

LeClair Insurance has almost 20 years’ experience in the formation and management of inter-company marketing partnerships. Over that period, we have acquired considerable expertise in what has become a highly specialized area. Today the forming and managing of these partnerships represents a significant segment of our business.

Inter-company marketing partnerships have become increasingly popular as insurers with controlled distribution systems, fraternal organizations, banks and investment firms seek to expand their businesses by adding insurance products to the goods and services they traditionally have offered consumers. Having these additional and needed products available can strengthen customer or member loyalty, lead to increased sales of traditional offerings and create new income opportunities for organizations and their sales representatives.

Through our relationships with leading insurers, LeClair Insurance is able to provide strong products on a nationwide basis to those insurance and fraternal companies, banks and other organizations wishing to market them to members or customers. Equally as important, our staff of insurance specialists can provide the sales and product training, marketing assistance and back office support needed to sell those products. Adequate training and support services seldom are available directly from insurance companies.

Another factor, which can be critical to the success of inter-company partnerships, is continuity. LeClair Insurance is a privately owned company, founded in 1932, led by the founder's son from 1969 to 2004 and directed currently by a third generation LeClair. While insurance companies and other institutions change key personnel, add or delete product lines and relocate or eliminate regional offices, LeClair provides the stability and consistency of service necessary for inter-company partnerships to function effectively through periods of change or disruption.

Currently we manage partnerships on behalf of financial service providers such as ING ReliaStar and PrimeVest Financial Services. Some of the fraternal organizations we represent are Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, Foresters and Royal Neighbors of America. Through these and other relationships, we are able to provide access to a variety of products including long-term care insurance, major medical and disability income plans, Medicare supplements and several types of life insurance.
