Greetings!
Thank you for taking the time to learn about HealthPlan Express and LeClair Insurance.
Let me start by introducing ourselves. LeClair Insurance, founded in 1932, has a long history as a managing general agency, working with thousands of insurance specialists throughout the country in the areas of health, life, and long-term care. I’m honored to be a third generation LeClair to lead our company today. My own background includes both the private sector and academia. I have a PhD in Economics and have taught at several universities. My private sector background includes starting in investment banking and then moving into the venture capital world, before returning back home and joining the insurance business. I’m proud of what we do at LeClair, and I will continue to work hard to make it a success for everyone involved.
Since the passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act in 2010, the market for health insurance has changed significantly. HealthPlan Express, a new marketing platform, is LeClair’s answer to this change.
